Generation Gap 3050

Everybody is different. We all have separate thought processes. However, there is a common denomination of thinkers (read old people :P) whose core ideals differ from us entirely. I guess this is what generation gap is. Being at home presently, my exposure to it is ever increasing. I began beating my head, trying to figure out if the gap is everlasting, perennial. I believe it is. So what would it be like in the future??? For my version, read along.

The year is 3050. Men, women and robots co-exist. The government is anti family and pro Windows. Microsoft CEO, a gargantuan cyborg, is the new Big Boss. Windows 3050 is just out (the constant crashing problems have still not been resolved). A Future Father (FF) and his wife, the Future Mother (FM) are having a conversation about their son.

FF: I dont know what to do with our son. He has lost the path of righteousness. No more values. Last week I caught him using the **** search engine. I mean, how can you not use google. Everyone back in our days used it. It was holy to us. Look at him now. It’s all your fault (slams his fist on the table!).

FM: (Crying)But he is our son…boohuuhooo (weird crying)

FF: I still controlled myself. But yesterday he came and said that he wanted to marry some gamma powered mechanical monster with state of the art AI. I mean cmon. She’s a robot for google’s sake. And that too in her beta version. I dont even know if she’s been tested for Electro Syphilis. Why couldnt he just marry a computer generated imitation of a gorgeous celebrity like everybody else (sobbing).

FM: (still crying) If it’s any consolation, he said that I-am-a-ho version 1.4.3 is really famous. She was on all the billboards of the “Got Ectoplasm” campaign.

FF:  Oh I dont give an android’s ass. It’s all because of that Aamir Khan. Look at him. 1094 years of age and still playin a 22 year old in his movie 3000 Idiots (in the 2999th sequel of the movie it was discovered that his super human knowledge was beacuse he was in fact a robot. Chatur is now the leading hero in the 3000th movie). Is he dumb or just ugly? Our son said that if Kareena could love a robot, so could he. Look at these idiots misleading the youth (dissapointed tone).

FM: (now stuck in an infinite loop of crying) I dont know why it is so difficult to find a normal girl. All you have to do is to make up some feelings and tell her you have them. Why didn’t I-am-a-ho just leave my son alone? Why wasn’t she a robosexual. I have heard that she is programmed to be busy. Who will help me make these ready to eat in 0.15 seconds food (sobbing inconsolably).

FF: Easy woman!! We wouldn’t want to be labelled as robophobics. But times are bad. Every second day you hear of alien abductions or an Aamir Khan movie. I guess this is what my dad meant by generation gap. Anyways, its getting late and you need to rest. I will power you off. Good night Drew Barrymore. Wake up as Kirstern Stewart. I could use some fresh perspective.

And you thought we had problems :P.
